Well, that's just a basic overview and summary of some of the key points covered in much greater detail in the course. This is truly one of the meatiest, most practical guides I've seen on this subject.
The bottom line is that getting a lot of (un-targetted, un-converting) traffic, or simply being on the "first page" of Google simply isn't enough anymore. And starting "slow and steady" isn't the answer either - actually, it could get you buried *fast* to due low performing ads...
